Description
The role of the care manager is expanded to focus on program or system based performance improvement and quality while remaining cognizant of cost. Concepts related to outcomes management, continuous quality improvement (CQI) and financial analysis within an integrated model of care management will be emphasized. The student will continue to study care of a specific caseload of patients in addition to focusing on the role of the care manager system wide or care management program director. Students will apply knowledge from advanced practice core courses and Care Management I.
