Description
The students have the opportunity to work with advanced practice nurses in the nurse practitioner role in inpatient and outpatient settings. This includes direct experience managing the adult patient in health promotion, maintenance and restoration roles. The teaching/coaching function with individuals, families and community groups is emphasized.
