Description
Students prepare an essay that reveals critical thinking skills of analysis and synthesis. Through a study of materials utilized in past MALS courses, students understand expressions and their embedded values which provide insight into various cultures within societies across space and time. This approach opens a fresh look at the world for students (a values and expressions perspective) and helps them to think about how values in these expressions inform their own values.
