Description

The purpose of this course is to provide students with a knowledge base of both the fundamental concepts of international accounting and professional ethics. The primary topics discussed include: worldwide accounting diversity issues; international harmonization and financial reporting standards; comparative statements; foreign currency issues; taxation and auditing; principles of accounting ethics; and code of professional conduct. Prerequisites: MBA 511 or 561, and 571; or permission of instructor
