Description

This management accounting course focuses on methods, tools, and analysis procedures to prepare internal reports that are used to enhance the effectiveness of decision-making processes that could be used in a variety of organizations. The primary topics discussed include accounting as the language of business, cost analysis methods, job-order costing, process costing, break-even analysis, profit analysis, variable costing procedures, budgeting methods, standard variance analysis, and professional ethics associated with the accounting profession. Prerequisite: MBA 511 or 561; or permission of instructor
