Description
An examination of selected health
management issues and problems with
an emphasis on managerial case studies where
decision-making and problem solving
techniques are utilized in a
group process. Students are required to
conduct, write, and present a research project
developing a business plan for a new program/
service in a health services organization. Prerequisites:
HS 101 or LC 201; BU 220, 230, 330;
HS 275, 402;
senior status with a minimum of 28
hours completed in the major.
