Description

Introduces historic preservation in perspective to other public history professions. Provides grounding in the history, theory, philosophy, and practice of historic preservation with focus on how historical significance is determined culturally and architecturally. Historic preservation is an interdisciplinary field that relies upon a variety of disciplines, including archaeology, architecture, history, landscape studies, public policy, real estate development, and urban and rural planning.
