Description
Through the use of case material students
will be guided through the process of treatment
planning and counseling intervention. Various
treatment modalities will be considered;
the role of theoretical orientation will be reviewed;
the importance of aligning treatment approach with
diagnosis and client goals will be emphasized;
the use of psychotropic medication and
the importance of liasioning with other
professionals will be discussed.
