Description
This course engages students in advanced legal research. The students will study how to formulate, process, compile, and evaluate research via the LEXIS-NEXIS (NexisUni) and WESTLAW databases, the Internet, and other resources. This course is also designed to refine the analysis and writing skills, which the students developed in LS 115 Legal Research & Writing. Accordingly, students will be required to learn advanced legal drafting skills, prepare and submit a comprehensive legal memorandum, and a trial brief. Prerequisite: LS 101, 115.
