Description
This course studies portrait painting in oil, acrylic, or pastel, with the objective of sharpening the painter???s skills of observation, use of materials, methods of application, and ability to compose a painting that presents the sitter in a manner that is compelling to the viewer. Integral to the course is the study and discussion of contemporary portrait painting and portraiture as a modern art form.
