Description
This course introduces students to the design fundamentals necessary to work with non-ferrous metal and enameling. Students create designs using techniques of soldering, fabrication, sawing, filing, chasing, polishing, forming, and enameling. And are encouraged to express a concept or issue that is meaningful within a global view. Installation, multi-media, time-based projects are encouraged. Required for studio art majors; open to non-art majors.
